EDRP Authorized: Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply for incentive. This position is eligible for
the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME).
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement).
Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.

If selected, you will practice at the Oneonta, NY Community Based Outpatient Clinic located at the FoxCare Center. You will be assigned a panel of patients to manage under the Department of Veterans Affairs Primary Care Management Model guidelines. Recommended panel size at the division level is calculated based on patient complexity, support staff, and room availability. You will be expected to provide clinical oversight and participate in peer review of other primary care providers through periodic chart reviews.
Your basic responsibilities will include:
- Providing patient care.
- Acting as surrogate for absent providers when needed.
- Attending staff meeting and medical meetings.
- Collaborating with and supervising mid-level providers.
- Following Veterans Health Administration guidelines.
- Timely documentation of encounters.
- Working closely with Patient-Aligned Care Team (PACT) including nursing and administrative staff .
- Working within your scope of practice.
Work Schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm (M-F)
