- The Deputy Chief of Staff works integrally with the Chief of Staff team as a key executive in the planning, execution, oversight and management of this highly complex health care services delivery, educational, and medical research enterprise.
- Serves as a member of the senior leadership team ensuring that high quality patient care is delivered to our Veterans and that facility programs reflect the mission and priorities of the VA.
- Has direct oversight of clinical and research services in the achievement of VA/VHA performance goals in the absence of the Chief of Staff.
- The position offers excellent opportunities to interact with an outstanding and diverse house staff and faculty, to oversee basic and clinical research, and to help shape the dynamic evolution of an innovative VA Health Care System.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend and afterhours work as needed
