This position is eligible for
the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

The Gainesville, FL Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Florida (UF) are searching for a full-time BC/BE Interventional and Structural Cardiologist. This faculty position is a dual appointment and primarily based at the VA. We have two cardiac cath labs, the full spectrum of CT surgery is available on site.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Work Shared between three interventional faculty and include the entire spectrum of cardiac catheterization and interventions including Structural Interventions, education of fellows in-and outside the lab, and staffing the interventional consult service.
- Night and weekend call is shared between eight VA and UF interventional faculty.
- VA CCU and general consult service are shared equally between thirteen VA cardiology faculty.
- Outpatient clinic responsibility is as needed, and ongoing scholarly activity is strongly encouraged.
- Opportunities for skillset advancement such as structural interventions.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
