Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- This position is General internal Medicine and accountable to the Chief of Inpatient (Hospitalist) Service and ultimately to the Chief of Medicine.
- The incumbent will have knowledge of clinical delivery structures, electronic medical records, and experience in clinical management and administrative matters.
- The incumbent will perform a variety of complex clinical and administrative tasks including but is not limited to, TMS training/yearly clinical competencies, patient education and guidance, timely and precise documentation, process workflow and other functionality regarding necessary clinical systems.
- The incumbent will work to optimize the usage of clinical systems through education and training, quality outcomes, and providing support in accordance with organizational goals.
- The incumbent will have proven communication skills (written and verbal), team-building skills, and demonstrated ability to promote morale and teamwork.
- The incumbent will have a general knowledge of military and civilian personnel management procedures of VA performance appraisals.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
