Martinsburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) can be found on 175 acres in historic Berkeley County and has a service area of more than 70,000 Veterans in West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Medical Center, part of the VA Capitol Health Care Network (VISN 5), offers a comprehensive range of services, including internal medicine, ambulatory surgery, audiology and speech pathology, dental, nursing home, nutrition, podiatry, prosthetics, women's health, mental health and rehabilitation medicine. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

- Responsible for Initial patient evaluation.
- Manages acute and chronic medical conditions in an outpatient setting to include; follow up care post treatment, consultation with other services as needed, and optimizing patient safety and quality.
- Serves on the Interdisciplinary Pain Care Committee representing PACT.
- Functions as a Pain and Opioid Safety subject matter expert during PACT case presentations and staff meetings.
- Assists in compiling VISN, facility, site and community pain resources that can assist PACT pain care management.
- Works closely with Primary Care, pain specialty and facility leadership to facilitate roadmap implementation.
- Serves as a liaison to PACT for information around national initiatives and tools (Stepped Care for Opioid Use Disorder Train the Trainer (SCOUTT) initiative , CARA mandates, opioid safety, and facility pain teams.
