Recruitment/Relocation Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): May be authorized
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Duties:
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care to Cardiology patients
- Collaborate with the Section Chief in determining the mission and objectives of the Section
- Participates in the education, training, and research missions of the Section and Service
- Supervises Cardiology Fellows, Internal Medicine residents and students
- Consults with the supervisor as needed and with colleagues to develop knowledge and apply agency policies and practices to new matters
- Reports to the Chief of Medicine through the Cardiology Section Chief
- Provide effective communication skills with nursing staff; other disciplines; patients to facilitate treatment planning and implementation; discharge planning; and continuity of care
- Participating in team meetings, treatment planning conferences, variety of community agencies, etc. that enhances coordination of comprehensive patient care
- Learn VA's computer system and complete annual and required trainings
- Willingly accepts additional and special assignments that are necessary to meet program goals or customer needs
