Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, Full Time
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Major Duties include but not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day care of veteran patients, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings
- Assess, consult, and treat hematology and oncology patients
- Serve as an expert in chemotherapy and other hematology and oncology procedures, to include bone marrow aspiration and biopsy
- Work closely with other providers, nurses, pharmacist and other disciplines for caring our veterans
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards meeting at the VA and other meetings at UCSF Fresno
- Participate in research and clinical trials
- Able to become a staff faculty in Hematology and Oncology at UCSF Fresno
- Actively participate in training residents, fellows and other medical students that rotate at the VA
- Sign chemo regimens, obtain patient consents, triage consults and follow VA policies and procedures for conduct, time and attendance and scheduling rule
- Other duties as assigned.
