Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Duties:
- CLINICAL

- The candidate will provide clinical care to both inpatients and outpatients according to established standards of care.
- The candidate will assess indications for surgery and provide timely and appropriate surgical care in the operating room or suitable procedure area.
- The candidate will be responsible for evaluating, accepting, and managing all patients admitted to the surgical service.
- The candidate will conduct daily clinical rounds on the service and coordinate care with discharge planners, social workers, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care and continuity.
- The candidate will develop a clinical practice and be expected to provide clinical care as a gynecologist.
- In addition to daily responsibilities as a clinical gynecologist, the candidate will participate in on-call duties to provide surgical care on nights and weekends.
- If the candidate is not already board-certified in the specialty of gynecology, he or she will be expected to be board-eligible and work towards securing certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
- ADMINISTRATION

- Participation in weekly faculty meetings with staff to promote improvements in care delivery and review outcomes to enhance safety and clinical outcomes in surgery.
- Participation in mandated training is expected of all clinical staff, and maintain medical licenses and other professional certifications to continue working as specialty providers.
- Participation in local facility committees and conferences relevant to their area of expertise as appointed by the Chief of Surgery.
- Completion of all required medical documentation associated with their clinical responsibilities correctly and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other members of the medical staff throughout the facility to improve communication among services and promote higher quality, reliability, and effective health care.
