The incumbent will be responsible for delivery of primary care to patients enrolled in the GCVHCS. The work assignment may include Primary Care Clinic and/or Women's Health Care.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- The physician will be responsible for delivery of primary care to patients enrolled in the GCVHCS.
- Responsible for managing assigned panel of patients in an outpatient setting.
- The provider will manage scheduled and unscheduled patients in a clinic setting at the medical center.
- Document patient care, complete administrative duties and clinical reminders accurately and timely.
- Works effectively within a team environment contributing to the effectiveness of the team to deliver safe, cost effective, quality, timely, and patient-focused care.
- May be responsible to clinically supervise and teach residents and students from affiliated medical schools.
- Manage multiple task priorities and productively contributes to the health care delivery team and improving access within assigned clinic patient panel.
- Provide clinical oversight and review the care provided by midlevel practitioners.
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm or Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm and may be determined upon selection. May include Saturday clinic rotations from 8:00am-4:30pm.
