Duties of the Provider:
- Provides consultation services and follow up of Primary Specialty Medicine (PSM) patients, in his or her designated field, in the outpatient setting at the St. Cloud Health Care System, or one of the affiliated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
- Participates in special projects pertinent to assigned sub-specialty as projects become available with strategic or other initiatives.
- Provides clinical oversight and review if assigned duty as a supervising or collaborating physician for a mid-level provider.
- Submits timely documentation in accordance with departmental policy. Enters progress notes on all patients as they are seen.
- Provides quality of care that always meets professional standards.
- Works within privileges at all times, unless necessitated by an emergency.
- Other duties, as assigned.

Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) Authorized: This position is eligible for EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
