Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
On-Call: Availability for calls after hours, weekends, and/or holidays
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

The gynecologist focuses on the health before, during and after childbearing years, diagnosing and treating conditions of the reproductive system and associated disorders. They provide both clinical and administrative gynecologic services at the VA Northern California Health Care System (VA NCHPCS).
- Perform a wide range of tests, including pap smears, pelvic, cancer screening and breast exams.
- Diagnose and prescribe treatments for disorders and diseases.
- Diagnose and treat reproductive system disorders such as endometriosis, infertility, ovarian cysts, and pelvic pain.
- Educate patients about disease prevention and detection, and reproductive health.
- Keep up to date with current practices and innovations.
- Cover ER call per service agreement
- Document all medical information in an electronic medical record.
- Other duties as assigned.
