This board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist will be treating patients with general hematologic and neoplastic diseases.
This is a primary clinical position, work activities may involve:
- preparing and interpreting blood and bone marrow samples
- analyzing blood samples using computer-aided and manual techniques
- reviewing initial data that may reveal abnormalities in white or red blood cells, platelets or clotting factors
- deciding on additional hematologic testing
- prescribing treatment for individual patients
- assisting colleagues in the interpretation of hematologic test results
- selecting appropriate techniques for different types of hematological analysis
- working as part of a multidisciplinary team that may include bone marrow transplantation specialists, hematologic subspecialists, or hematopathologists
- teaching or training medical students, residents and other hospital staff
- providing education and counseling to patients
- maintaining accurate and detailed records.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
