Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients in both settings, as appropriate for care of those patients.
- Assess, consult, and treat patients with general urologic disorders, in the outpatient and CLC settings.
- Interpretation of the radiological testing of the urinary tract and other specialty imaging to establish diagnosis and assist in management of urologic disorders.
- Act as the consultant for patients referred to him/her for input about the needed urologic care.
- Urologist will routinely follow patients who need regular or intensive follow up in urology clinic.
- The Urologist will be responsible for the management of urological complications.
- Possible travel to Community Based Outpatient Clinics if coverage is needed.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Contract Buy Out Program: This position may be eligible for the Physician / Provider Contract Buy Out Program (CBOP), which authorizes VHA to buy out service contracts (Locum agreements, loan repayments, sign-on bonus contracts, Physician-owned practices) in exchange for employment at certain rural or highly rural facilities for a period of obligated service (minimum 4 years).
