We are seeking a qualified Physician- Women's Health PACT to join our team at the Fredericksburg, Veterans Affairs Health Care Center, which is affiliated with the Central Virginia VA Health Care System located in Richmond, Virginia. The incumbent of this position provides integrated outpatient, accessible health care services for an all women Veterans panel in conjunction with the health care team. The incumbent in this position provides comprehensive women's health care to a panel of women Veterans in conjunction with a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). The incumbent is accountable for addressing a large majority of personal health care needs, developing a sustained partnership with patients, and practicing in the context of family and community. The care is person-centered, team-based, community-aligned, and designed to achieve better health, better care, and lower costs. The incumbent is specifically trained to provide comprehensive women's health primary care services through residency or fellowship training in acute and chronic care settings.
The Fredericksburg Veterans Affairs Health Care Center offers a comprehensive range of outpatient services for Veterans in the Northern Virginia and Central Virginia area, including Primary Care and Mental Health services. The establishment of this new health care center is part of the Central Virginia VA Health Care System and the Veterans Health Administration's initiative to enhance access to care for Veterans, thereby providing them with more healthcare options within their communities and fulfilling the mission to deliver exemplary care to our Nation's Heroes.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

The duties and responsibilities of the Physician - Women's Health PACT include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provides direct patient care in an outpatient women's health clinic setting.
- Works as a member of an expanded Healthcare team to oversee.
- Coordinate medical care for a population of veterans in a group practice setting utilizing the PACT model.
- Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and provides consultation to veteran patients 18 years of age and older with common and complex illnesses, diseases, and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, neurological, skin, genitourinary and reproductive systems as delineated on the incumbents Primary Care Service Line Medical Center approved provider privileges.
- Provides gender specific care (including but not limited to cancer screenings) to female veterans.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
