Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Promotes quality patient care as a clinical expert in Primary Care, and acts a mentor, preceptor, and consult to other PACT team members and trainees.
- Works collaboratively with other health care professionals to accomplish patient, service, and medical center goals, promoting and embracing the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model of care, utilizing Integrity, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect, Excellence (ICARE) values throughout the clinic.
- Uses assessment skills to examine patients thoroughly using appropriate clinical, laboratory and other pertinent data and ensures proper follow care for assigned patients.
- Accurately interprets and evaluates clinical data for the purpose of determining diagnosis and clinical status of a patient.
- Ability to act and respond quickly in recognizing in emergency situations and taking appropriate action.
- Initiate appropriate referrals and consultations to other clinical services, as needed.
- Prescribes medications, in accordance with OBVAMC credentialing, Federal and State law, and VHA regulations.
- Maintains confidentiality of patients and relatives and maintains accurate reports of physical examinations and changes in status by informing patients and relatives during the treatment process.
- Initiate appropriate referrals and consultations to other facility specialty areas, as needed.
- Practice and maintain ethical standards, and sustain a work environment that is harmonious and customer service oriented.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
