1. Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) duties include, but are not limited to, administering, under the direction of a physician, both diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and adjunct medications; performing QC on nuclear medicine cameras and equipment; and instructing patients before, during, and following procedures. You will acquire, process, and transfer the imaging study for review by the Nuclear Medicine physician.
2. The selected incumbent will also hold the position of Associate Radiation Safety Officer (ARSO) with additional duties as a nuclear medicine technologist. The Associate Radiation Safety Officer (ASRSO)/Nuclear Medicine Technologist assists the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) with radiation safety program duties across 9 facilities/300 employees, and performs nuclear medicine procedures as needed.
NMT/ARSO duties include, but are not limited to:
- Track radiation safety training for staff
- Manage dosimetry for clinical staff
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory bodies
- Monitor CT optimization and review patient exposures
- Monitor fluoroscopy exposures in patient procedures
- Assist the RSO with oversight and management of the radiation safety program
- Notify RSO of any radiation safety problems, investigate, recommend and provide corrective actions
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Supervisor discretion

Pay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases.
