Summary
This position is located in the Medical Clinic - Nursing Services Department of the Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center in Sisseton, South Dakota. The purpose of this position is to be the direct supervisor over the nursing and MSA staff and services in the clinic and assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and to assume the responsibility of the Director of Nursing in his/her absence.

Duties
- Coordinates and monitors outpatient operations and patient care to ensure processes and policies are followed for employee performance and patient disposition.
- Documents observations, interventions, referrals, and other measures taken to provide services
- Develops and maintains nursing schedule for department, adjusting schedule as needed.
- Ensures departmental compliance with employee health requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Experience with implementation and oversight of quality nursing care, and the ability to perform the full spectrum of supervisory personnel management. Enforces all appropriate standards including but not limited to those of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) guidelines, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) conditions of participation. Collaborates with Chief Nurse Executive in the nursing documentation analysis, evaluation and program planning including development of staff education and skills competence activities.
